I did have my doubts (and so did everybody else), but I was determined this was where our shower room was going to be. Hope there aren't too many pictures!

Griffo, I got the idea of the doors and walls in the same colour from your bath room !!! You may not remember the quote below, but I always kept it in mind.
Quote:
I meant to say Tara that whatever the wall colour is if there is a door in that wall I always paint it the same colour along with ant door frames, window ledges or skirtings boards.

Wow, what a transformation! Also I love seeing the 'in progress' pics along with the 'before' and 'after's. You've done an amazing job. Can we see the rest of the house?

Thank you all for your nice comments!
It was hard work, the hardest part being the builder. He thought I was mad for wanting the hole for the towels behind the shower and the hole for the soap and shampoo in the shower, I really don't know why, they're very handy.

Thank you retrocircles . The shower is a Villeroy&Boch Squaro, I had never heard of Matki, I am not sure they sell them overhere.

I am sure you'll manage Annavall
It is only tiny tiny, 1m55 deep and 2m70 wide, of which we lose the corner where the old chimney is, which is 90x35cm. To 'compensate' we installed the widest possible shower, 120x90, and we left the rest of the floor space free, so a hanging toilet and no cabinet underneath the wash basin.
