I have decided to start a new thread chronicling the revamp of my kitchen. We are keeping the original carcasses and the stainless steel worktop and replacing the doors, drawer fronts, side panels and adding another larder unit. There will be lots of pics along the way and here is the kitchen as it is now......

It has all just been delivered.......

Sneak peak.....

Thanks everyone!
I'm not sure what to do with the old bits because they will only fit a Homebase kitchen. I have just had to gouge out the plastic plug thingys that the screws go into from each drawer (4 per drawer front!!!) I have just fitted 3 drawer fronts and they look gorgeous, I'm really pleased with them....even David loves them and he said they looks really expensive!!!!!
There won't be any progress tomorrow because we have a wedding to go to.

Ewwwww.....I hope I don't! Even if I was invited to your house and got absolutely smashed I still think I would be able to find the toilet! FPMSL!!!
You have done an amazing job with your kitchen and for a lot less money than ours!!!! You should be very proud of it!!

I'm with you on the bubble wrap, I think that's the bit I hate most about ebay selling is the wrapping!!! Seriously though Griffo, you should try freecycle, okay so you don't make any money, but they come and get it. My friend has offloaded some very odd things indeed this way and it's regional so you know you've always got local interest.

Just put them down as local collection! You'd be surprised! List them at 99p and people would travel if they wanted them. You're taking pics anyway so take one for ebay. Do it i tell you!!!
Then you could treat yourself to a special kitchen accessory with the extra money you make....
I'm not even going to try and compete with your kitchen, you're right - mine is cheap and chic!

I love the old doors - definitely ebay them with a 'buyer collects' tag - even if you only get £20, its better than having to lug them out to a tip yourself.
