Finally in Fulham...
      #4742 - 11/06/2007 16:54

Finally in Fulham...
After many romantic weekends away from one end of the earth to the other, my boyfriend got down on one knee in his most comfortable surroundings our newly-renovated place in Fulham...

Wow! Looks real good!
I'd also like to know about the panelling. Is it the exact same as the flooring?
And the bar, is it wood or stone or ..?
Last but not least.. congratulations!

Fantastic place! Love the clean lines and stacks of storage. And congratulations - it just shows there's no place like home!

Thank you very much, yes very happy with the finish of our place and obviously the engagement. The cladding on the wall is the same used for the floor (Walnut floor boards). It's literally cut to size and fixed to the wall. The bench is white corian (beautiful material, so cool to the touch) it is one piece (which luckily just fit through the window to get it in the place) with the two sinks moulded in.

Absolutely gorgeous!! Love the walnut and the white together, i had considered fixing my flooring to the wall before and yours definitely works.

Would love to see more pictures of your home. Congrats on your engagement too... what more could a girl want!

p.s. did you design it all yourself?

What did you use to fix the flooring to the wall?

Beautifully simple, love it! Very cool idea, the flooring looks great on the wall and recess. Are your stools the real mccoys? Or are they lem-ons ? There are a few tales on here regarding the fakes!!Best of happiness with the engagement.Could this be the first weddingetc????? Ralphmalph.

It's so gorgeous - I really love the way some places are more than just minimal and have that slightly stark look which is far more classy .... you have really achieved this ..... I would have agreed to marry your boyfriend had I been able to live in a place like this !!! It's absolutely fantastic xx

Having owned some lem-oms as you call them (mine were pretty good I have to add) the ones in the pictures don't look like the real deal, its the lever that gives it away....although saying that I'm no expert and could be completely wrong and will look like a fool and be branded the living etc forum dunce lol

LOL Sev....You are correct.
Its the lever that gives them away.
My Lem-ons are great....not as good quality as the originals of course but they will do for now.

You are right!! They are the lem-ons.... quite happy with them though. We've had them for a while now, and haven't had any troubles.

Thanks Biba, we're really happy with it all. Yes, we designed it all ourselves (well my boyfriend did, he has great vision for these things!!) Will take some more pics sometime soon for you guys.
