Thanks cja, that's a fantastic compliment coming from you, your home is absolutely beautiful!! I love Tunbridge Wells, I'm from a small town just south of there.
I've been reading all the posts and remarks with regard to your initial post, it makes great reading. How's the project in Holland coming along, can't wait to see pics of it!!
Thanks again, Emma

I replied to your other post about your photos earlier but it doesn't seem to have worked...
Just to say, really like the blue walls in the kitchen, and the way the colour is picked up in the lampshade in the dining room. Lovely!

That project in Holland was aborted due to the builder quoting nearly as much as the cost of the house to do the work, which could have been ok if the house would then sell on for more. Unfortunately there is a ceiling here on houses with no parking and tiny gardens so had to walk away. We are viewing a beautiful looking house tomorrow, I am very excited and I will keep you posted....... I really like your table by the way, it is a lovely colour.

Hiya cja, what a shame about the first project. Definitely keep us all posted on how the one you're viewing tonight goes ....
I love my table too! And it was a bargain from eBay too which makes it even sweeter! I spotted it and knew it was exactly the size and colour that I wanted so after a l-o-t of persuading my hubby finally relented and we hired a van and drove half way across country to collect it!
We're busy working on finishing the dining room this weekend - the dining room leads off the kitchen and so we're continuing with the floorboards (they are reclaimed from a church in East Sussex) that we laid in the kitchen into the dining room too. I swear that I'm busier at the weekend than I am during my working week!
Thank you everyone for your kind comments.

Hi cja, thank you! I couldn't quite beleive it when I got the email, I was so chuffed!
Not too sure what to do with my "winnings", we thought we'd spend it on something extravagant, something we wouldn't normally spend £150 on! Or something sexy for the garden maybe?!!

Hi EmmaRose, just wanted to add my congratulations to your win. Very well deserved and your dining room looks like it could make the cover of Living etc! Love your mix of old style and modern pieces. Happy shopping - I think you should splash out on something sexy for the garden as it sounds like it is your next project and Habitat have some gorgeous stuff this summer. Best wishes. L

Hiya Monica,
I'm so sorry for such a long delay, I've not logged onto this site for too long!
The cabinet is actually from eBay! I think the seller was called Victorian Pine or something similar, based in Oxford. He was a really nice chap and they always have lots of stock so it's worth checking them out. Hope that helps!
Thanks, Emma
