I am loving the clever use of high storage for the books, etc. It looks fab! What's the colour in the kitchen, please? It's very striking! My monitor makes it look like a green/grey/blue so I might be waaaay out but it looks gorgeous. Very well done. As Griffo says, size *doesn't* matter - you have made it look incredibly inviting!

Absolutely lovely. The high level storage is great and your colour scheme is gorgeous. It looks so understated and airy - no mean feat in such a small space. Fab!
I am currently considering a similar combination of white / neutrals / teal blue colours for my bedroom, so could you post details of the colour on the walls in the kitchen as its just the sort of shade I'm looking for?
Also, what have you used for the kitchen worktops? Is it wood or laminate? I'm looking for this colour to tone with an antique dark wood laboratory wall cupboard I'm hoping to use in our kitchen. Any details would be much appreciated.

What a quirky little flat - I love the way you have decorated it, it really makes the most of the uniqueness of the flat itself and you have some lovely things. What area of Glasgow is it?

Completely agree with everyone else, you have done a fantastic job! Excellent use of space. I especially like the cosy dining area, and the use of chairs as bedside tables. The kitchen wall looks quite reflective, is it glass?

Congratulations and good luck with the next project!

I agree with all the above comments!
And it looks so cute from the outside too!
How long have you lived there and are you moving to a bigger house/flat?
Good luck with the move and eventual renovations!!
P.S. Who's job was it to dust that really high shelf!!!???

Thank you for your lovely comments.

Just to let you know about the colour in the kitchen. It is a grey/green/blue colour that we mixed tourselves. It was based however on one that we saw in a book by Kevin Macleod on colour (if that's any help?) and I think it can be ordered from the Paint and Paper Library.

Yummy. V envious of the chair in the TV area ( the one with the cushion on it.) Is it a vintage one or can I copy you shamelessly by buying one somewhere?!

I bought the chair a few years ago from a shop called Graham and Green. There were only 2 at the time and I never saw any again, but you could try phoning them (0845 130 6622)

Hi Siane

I'm sorry- seem to have overlooked your query re the kitchen counter. I'm afraid it's just a laminate worktop as we have done up the flat on a very tight budget We are also going to rent the flat out and wanted something easy to maintain. The worktop was bought it in B&Q for a snip, but have recently found you can buy old chemistry lab worktops (teak) from most reclamation yards. This should match your laboratory wall cupboard quite nicely. Hope this helps!
