i love your place and way it is so consistent (yhtäpitävä) throughout. Feels like a home and I particularly like its simplicity. well done.

That looks great, just my style. I am about to remodel and am aiming for something similar. Thanks for the pics and inspiration.

Wow. I love the style and the lights are great. The photo's are really clear too- is it a good camera or good lighting? Makes me wish for a minimalistic style home -or have you chucked all the clutter in the spare room for the photo shoot!! Why is my house sooo full!

Simple, great style and very calm. Lovely!!

Am using an old laptop at the mo, with a dodgy monitor. Can't work out the colour on the living room wall. Is it black, brown, dark green....? Whatever the colour, I love the contrast.

Ciao

Love it,love it,love it!!!
It must be a joy to live there.
Great simplistic looking kitchen and I really like the bold black(?) wall and grey corner sofa.
I was thinking of using the same Ikea(?) drawers in my loft/studio in the same way.

hi, i love this, the house looks fantastic! very calm and minimalist, yet your furniture and other "bits" makes it feel very homely. i was wondering where all your stuff is (!) but can see that you have plenty of storage to hide things away in. i like the colour in the living room as well, nice contrast to all the white.

Hi Tintin, what a great home you have, I love your kitchen, loads of storage but very spare and calm, do the wall cupboards have handles like the lower ones or are they the push close sort? and the light over the table is fab, I want one!!!

I agree with everyone else , very stylish, simple and calm.
I really like the tall kitchen cupboards, and your tree cushion. I also love the monster plant, we had a massive one when I was a child. I think they were the "it" plant in the 70's.. Great house. x

Hi! Thanks for all nice comments!

Living room: Wall is matt black (non-glossy). The lamp (on the tv stand) is from Pentik (finnish desing brand).

Kitchen: Wall cupboards have handles (from Ikea) like the lower ones. Upper cupboards does not have any handles yet..(there is the stuff we never need).

We have quite lot storage space in drawers. When we moved in last christmas we sold much stuff at fleamarket and donated to friends.

The camera is Canon EOS350D (digital).

This is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Can I ask what the name of the paint colour is on the wall behind the sofa? It looks like a really lovely grey?
